Work Science, one of Australia’s highly regarded safety and risk management consultancies is seeking a WHS consultant to support the delivery of recent new project wins.

About the role:
Note: This is a hybrid role combining a primary office base in Brisbane, with flexibility to work from home in accordance with deliverables and coordination with your manager.
In this client-facing role, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing clients with technical advice, audits, and incident investigations – on health, safety, and risk
- Delivering client reports and participating in Work Science Quality Assurance processes
- Drafting management system and other types of documentation
- Co-facilitating and scribing for client training and workshops
- Supporting business development through research, collateral development etc
- Pursuing business opportunities through proactive client engagement
- Other tasks and work as directed by Work Science management
About you:
Are you a highly motivated, skilled safety consulting professional and looking to take the next step in your career? Desirable Qualifications and experience
- Degree level qualification in a WHS or related field
- 1 - 2 years’ experience delighting your clients, colleagues and onlookers in a WHS role
- WHS lead auditor qualification
- Construction and/or property risk experience
Skills and capabilities
- Tenacious, resourceful and willing to work outside comfort zones to learn and grow
- Strong technical writing and systems documentation skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Word and Excel
- Curious, inquisitive, adaptable to change and capable to thrive in a commercial consulting environment
- Team player, jumps in to help others
- Pragmatic problem solver
