ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Organizational Change Management Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading and implementing successful change management initiatives within complex organizations. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence and drive change at all levels of an organization.
Change Management Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and challenges.
- Develop comprehensive change management strategies and plans to support organizational transformation initiatives.
- Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in.
- Develop and execute communication plans to effectively convey the vision, goals, and progress of change initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and meetings to gather input and feedback from stakeholders.
Implementation and Execution:
- Lead the execution on change management plans, ensuring timely and effective implementation.
- Develop training and development programs to equip employees with the skills needed to adapt to change.
- Monitor and report on the progress of change initiatives, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
Performance Measurement and Continuous Improvement:
- Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of change management initiatives.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients to sustain change and drive continuous improvement.
Leadership and Mentoring:
- Mentor and coach junior consultants, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in change management and share knowledge with the team.
- Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops for internal teams and clients to enhance change management capabilities.
- Create customized training materials and resources to address specific organizational needs and ensure successful knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field or combination of education and experience
- Master’s degree or MBA is an asset
- Prosci Change Management Certification or other recognized certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in organizational change management, preferably within a consulting, utilities, IT, Banking, or in a HR environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering large-scale change initiatives.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (understanding the roles and responsibilities of various team members). Any formal SCRUM or AGILE certifications will be considered an asset
- Experience working with diverse industries and understanding of different business models.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in change management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
