Job Description:
Baker Tilly is actively seeking a Sage Intacct Sr Consultant to join our Digital Solutions - Sage Intacct team. In this position you will be responsible for providing exceptional support for our existing client base and lead new Sage Intacct implementations. Using prior experience, training, and education, the ideal candidate will demonstrate effective communication and work closely with clients and other Baker Tilly team members to resolve challenges and improve customer processes.
This is a client-facing role that requires a deep knowledge of construction accounting and construction management processes, coupled with excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.

Technical Functions:
- Collaborate with teams and customers to implement Sage Intacct using our methodology:
- Lead role on multiple simultaneous projects.
- Manage workload on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Conduct requirements definition discussions.
- Design solutions.
- Configure software.
- Perform unit and integration testing
- Conduct training for customer end-users at all levels of the customer’s organisation and relate system functionality to customer business requirements.
- Analyse complex business processes and interpret customer requirements into deliverable solutions (i.e. cost allocations, union payrolls, equity distributions, consolidations, etc.)
- Perform gap analysis between system functionality and client requirements.
- Demonstrate expertise with financial and accounting functions.
- Manage complex migration projects from beginning to end.
- Effectively document customer business requirements into configurable software solutions and business management processes utilising Baker Tilly’s best practices.
- Monitor and respond to customer technical issues.
- Ability to easily identify outliers in reviewing financial data.
- Build industry specific key performance indicators, reports, and dashboards.
- Identify risks and monitor through necessary escalation channels.
- Any additional assignments as requested by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business management, or relevant field.
- 3+ years' consulting experience (preferred).
- 3+ years’ Sage Intacct (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience working with construction management applications such as Procore, Corecon, Buildertrend, Sablono, VisiLean, etc.
- 3+ years’ construction accounting experience, including multi-currency, VAT, CIS, project billing (preferred).
