A large financial institution is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the governance, oversight, and management of their project. This initiative is designed to enhance compliance with regulatory conduct obligations across multiple workstreams. The role requires maintaining structured governance practices, tracking project deliverables, and ensuring accurate reporting and record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and document project actions, issues, and outcomes, maintaining detailed records in tracking systems and reports.
- Manage logistics and documentation related to audit assessments, ensuring proper folder organisation within SharePoint.
- Review an audit advisory firm's quarterly reports with the Program Lead and ensure accuracy for both internal and regulatory review.
- Track project milestones, confirm progress, review supporting evidence, and ensure documentation meets assessment guidelines.
- Maintain a clear audit trail by systematically collecting, storing, and archiving project deliverables, assessment records, and completion evidence.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience within financial services as a business analyst, with at least 5 years as a Business Analyst or in a similar project role.
- Strong expertise in regulatory change projects and the ability to simplify complex regulatory and business issues for effective resolution.
- Solid background in product management, compliance, risk management, or consulting.
- Well-developed commercial acumen and ability to navigate governance frameworks.
- Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders, providing structured analysis and recommendations.
- Strong record-keeping skills, ensuring transparent documentation of decisions and regulatory outcomes.
