We are currently seeking a passionate, growth minded and intellectually curious Senior Consultant (SC) / Engagement Manager (EM) to join Trinity’s vibrant and growing Evidence Strategy / Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) team.
The Evidence Strategy team is part of Trinity’s broader Evidence, Value, Access and Pricing (EVAP) business unit. The team provides strategic and tactical support to biotech, pharma, and medical device clients on many aspects of evidence planning, value demonstration, and scientific communication through real-world health economics and outcomes research (HEOR).
This individual will be part of a vibrant team that offers a broad suite of services. They will help clients develop holistic value propositions and strategic evidence generation plans for innovative treatments, build health economic models, conduct literature reviews, primary research (with physicians, patients, and payers), and secondary research (e.g., claims, EHR) studies, and develop strategic publications (e.g., abstracts, posters, manuscripts, etc.), based on their training, skill set and areas of interest.
Beyond methods and project types, SCs and EMs in the Evidence Strategy team also play a pivotal bridging role, connecting the staff with the Management and Leadership teams at Trinity. They also have unique opportunities to manage client interactions with oversight over project teams / workstreams. Depending on their prior experience, they may also be responsible for employee management, project budget, training, mentoring and more. With exposure to the variety of strategic business issues covered by the EVAP team, this position offers qualified candidates the opportunity to take on immediately challenging and rewarding roles, using both HEOR and Market Access lenses to drive client success.
Essential Functions
- Serve as the main client point of contact for EVAP project engagements and internal team lead
- Liaise with leadership and project team to ensure project outputs include strategically sound and actionable recommendations.
- Support team members as a workstream lead, both coordinating and guiding the work of more junior staff members and effectively communicating as a partner to project managers and leadership.
- Create and present client-ready materials, including research materials, interim deliverables, and final project reports.
- Provide thought leadership in evidence strategy in both client- and non-client-related activities (e.g., external conferences).
- Train and mentor junior staff on project case teams, in internal training efforts, and through formal / informal mentorship.
- Leads and supports business development through creation of project proposals, including ability to understand strategic client needs, design project methodology, timeline, and budget.
Qualifications
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with high academic achievement; major / advanced degree in health sciences, Economics, HEOR, public health, epidemiology, pharmacy, health services, MBA with a health focus/track; demonstrated interest in life sciences is a plus.
- 3+ years as a top performer within a top-tier biopharmaceutical / pharmaceutical company or strategy consulting / HEOR firm serving industry leading clients.
- Critical thinking, strong consulting capabilities and working knowledge of standard HEOR methodologies, tools, and techniques: Evidence Synthesis (TLRs/SLRs), Evidence Generation Planning; Evidence Generation using Primary or Secondary / Claims Research methods; HECON (Health Economics) Models; Scientific Publications.
- Excellent analytical skills and numeric capability.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal),interpersonal skills, and the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, PPT, Excel, and Outlook).
- High attention to detail with superior organizational and time management skills.
- Strong team player, ability to work with cross-functional staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under the pressure of deadlines and manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Geography: US and UK; ideally near one of our primary offices (NYC, Boston, San Francisco, or London) but open to remote work for the right candidate.

Trinity’s salary bands account for a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets and market demand for skills; level of experience and training; specific qualifications, performance, time in role/company, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $115,000-$160,000.
In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus.
