Guidehouse is looking for eDiscovery Technologist Consultant to be a part of our growing litigation and investigative support practice area. Every organization today faces complexity across multiple levels on a frequent basis. Join our team supporting the Department of Justice and help navigate our customers through the complexities associated with data proliferation and the growing technical and legal challenges of eDiscovery.
The eDiscovery Technologist Consultant merges legal and technical expertise to manage and analyze ESI workflows in legal matters, ensuring efficient and compliant discovery practices. The consultant must possess knowledge of eDiscovery software platforms such as eDiscovery Platform, Relativity, and Casepoint; provide consulting and implementation support to clients on eDiscovery strategies, workflows, and technology solutions; stay informed on the lates eDiscovery technologies, legal developments, and best practices across Public and Private Sectors. This role requires a legal expertise on these processes and applications to monitor changes to laws that impact civil and criminal litigation and determine their impact on current Discovery policies and procedures.
What You Will Need:
- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET federal security clearance and ability to obtain SCI clearance.
- (FIVE) 5 or more years of experience with data collection, use of technology to facilitate discovery, eDiscovery platforms or tools, and familiarity with litigation practices.
- Experience maintaining case-related documents in litigation support and document management databases.
- Experience monitoring industry trends and new technology and applying that knowledge to improve eDiscovery workflows and document technical best practices in eDiscovery.
- Experience organizing and overseeing document collections, processing, and productions.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to translate legal requirements into technical requirements.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Juris Doctor degree.
- Successful completion of bar exam.
- Experience testing eDiscovery Platforms, tools and processes.
- Experience providing end-user training on eDiscovery platforms and processes.
- Experience creating standard operating procedures and/or best practices of technical applications.
- Ability to coordination with IT partners in analysis of discovery tools and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and manage complex relationships.
The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
