GRACosway is looking for an outstanding person to join our Brisbane team as an Associate in our Public Affairs team.

Working as part of our Public Affairs practice, you will work on a mix of political, policy and regulatory issues to support our clients navigate complex issues.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Associate, you will work with senior colleagues to support GRACosway’s clients. A typical day may involve:
- Preparing briefing materials on political developments
- Conducting detailed research on a specific policy issue
- Monitoring developments in parliament and media and providing updates to clients
- Attending client meetings and providing support with drafting materials
- Contributing to external publications, including the weekly Wrap Up
ABOUT YOU
GRACosway’s Associates come from different professional backgrounds and offer a mix of skills and strengths. Our ideal candidate for this role will be:
- Politically aware, with an interest in public policy, news, and current affairs
- A great communicator who presents confidently and writes well
- Curious, self-motivated and skilled at research
You have a strong client service ethic, are highly organised, capable of managing a variety of tasks and anticipating the needs of colleagues and clients.
Prior experience in a government environment, with an industry body, advocacy organisation or consulting firm would be viewed favourably.
