As a Financial Analyst with Blue Matter, you will join an entrepreneurial firm with a dynamic and growing team and have the opportunity to help grow and build the company. Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, you will help own and support key accounting and finance functions and work collaboratively with team members to support the daily operations of the business.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and approving client and vendor contracts
- Support the accounts receivable process, including client invoicing and collections
- Liaising with Blue Matter project leads to ensure project financials are up-to-date and accurate
- Assisting with the monthly close cycle and reconciliations
Desired Experience and Skills:
- Experience working in accounting functions (project accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable)
- Superb attention to detail
- Superior organizational and solid time-management skills
- Professional presence
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with NetSuite and Salesforce (or similar systems) and project management systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business accounting, or related field
- 3+ years proven finance/accounting experience
- Working knowledge of accounting and regulatory standards (GAAP)
- International accounting experience
This position is fully-remote and working hours need to align with either the Eastern and Central time zone.
