You will be responsible for analyzing our Client’s systems to find any flaws or inefficiencies, planning solutions to resolve all issues and ensure long-term effectiveness and efficiency; you will also develop plans to improve any shortcomings in the systems.
Your tasks:
Exploring opportunities: You will identify new areas of activity and propose bold solutions
Participating in bidding processes: You will prepare presentations and offers that will impress clients
- Preparing cost-benefit analysis reports for all proposed upgrades
Working with clients: You will analyze their needs, evaluate their IT systems, define requirements, and propose innovative solutions
- Communicating with management and employees to determine system requirements
Analyzing and optimizing: You will dive into process analysis and documentation to propose possible solutions
Integrating processes: You will connect the worlds of business, strategy, and IT to create cohesive and effective solutions
- Planning new systems that address any issues with the current systems
- Collaborating with the IT team to implement your plan
- Testing the new solutions to validate that they are working as expected
- Reporting back on all improvements made, as well as any setbacks
- Creating training processes and documentation to teach others how to use new systems
- Keeping up to date with the latest developments in information systems
- Ensuring that all budget and timeline constraints are met
Your profile:
To be successful in this role, you should have an in-depth knowledge of available IT solutions, and an analytical mind capable of solving complex problems. Top Candidates will also have strong communication skills, with an ability to explain solutions clearly.
- 2-4 years of experience in procurement or related fields (internships are welcome)
- Prior experience as a systems analyst or in a similar position will be an asset
- Negotiation and risk analysis as well as procurement procedures and contract management specialization
- Advanced knowledge of the MS Office suite and knowledge of Source-to-Pay systems like: Ivalua, SAP Ariba, Coupa, Synertrade, or similar
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in German – working proficiency level (C1) is a minimum
- Very good verbal and written communication skills in English – communicative level (B2) is a minimum
- A degree in computer science, information systems, or economics
- An analytical mind that can draw conclusions from data
