As a Senior Associate in our Colombia team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-impact performance improvement and consulting advisory services. You will lead workstreams, interact directly with clients, and contribute significantly to the execution and success of engagements. Your role will involve both strategic thinking and operational execution, driving measurable improvements for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth assessments of clients’ manufacturing and distribution operations, including organization design, production capacity, efficiency, quality control, planning, warehousing, and team capabilities.
- Evaluate the maintainability, operability, and scalability of production facilities and processes.
- Analyze historical and real-time operational data to assess efficiency, capacity utilization, equipment performance, and production KPIs.
- Lead fieldwork to gather insights directly from shop floor operations, through interviews and data analysis.
- Identify and quantify cost-saving opportunities through process improvements, lean implementation, outsourcing, or facility consolidation.
- Develop and present transformation strategies, implement roadmaps, and risk mitigation plans to senior client stakeholders.
- Oversee deliverables, manage junior team members, and maintain strong client relationships throughout the engagement lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- 8 - 10 years of experience in performance improvement, operational consulting, or a related field. A mix of consulting and industry experience (manufacturing, supply chain, or finance-related roles) is highly valued.
- Demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following areas:
- Manufacturing Operations, S&OP
- Supply Chain Optimization
- Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints (TOC), or Value Engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including business process design and quantitative modeling.
- Proven experience in strategy execution and change management initiatives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Spanish and English.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred.
