You are:
A professional who has experience working with Financial Services organisations (including Banking, Wealth and Asset Management, Insurance, Financial Market Utilities, etc.). You are excited to leverage your experience to transform Financial Services organizations; working across the C-suite to capitalize on disruption, enable competitiveness, and drive growth and profitability via continuous innovation.
The work:
- Support the day-to-day execution of consulting projects and ensuring successful delivery of client requirements within the scope of the engagement (e.g. execute activities according to agreed deadlines and quality requirements).
- Respond promptly to engagement demands and anticipate critical actions for successful initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of intellectual property, including improving methodologies, tools, techniques and developing new ideas and approaches.
- Support business development efforts, building understanding of how to architect and position proposals and statements of work.
- Engage with macro industry (Banking, Wealth and Asset Management, Insurance, etc.) trends, competitive dynamics, and disruptors (fintech, digital, AI, etc.) to generate thought leadership and innovative new ideas to respond to evolving industry challenges.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to Analysts to help develop their consulting skills, including sharing knowledge and experience, giving frequent feedback, and creating opportunities for team members to learn and grow.
Here is what you need:
- Minimum 3 years of experience supporting Financial Services organizations (Banking, Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Asset Management, Insurance, Financial Market Utilities (e.g., Payments, Exchanges, etc.) or private investors with one or more of the following areas:
- Growth Strategy and Business Model Transformation
- Pricing and Revenue Optimization
- Distribution and Sales Effectiveness
- Mergers & Acquisitions (portfolio review, due diligence, synergy, post-merger integration, etc.)
- Performance Improvement/Cost Re-engineering/Offshoring
- Data, Platform and Technology Modernization
- Innovation, Data & Analytics, Digital, and AI
- Finance and Risk Transformation
- Strong problem-solving acumen leveraging quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; proven ability to derive insights from large volumes of unstructured information to solve complex, ambiguous problems.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
- Team player who can excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and challenging work environment.
- Proactive in seeking knowledge and staying updated on project management tools and methodologies.
- Exceptional Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- MBA or any other advanced degree is preferred.
- Fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin.
