Role: Slalom Flex (Project Based) – Junior Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator will support our client's day-to-day project needs. In this role, you will be responsible for managing administrative aspects of projects, tracking, and monitoring project progress.
What You’ll Do
- Project Scheduling: Create, update, and maintain project plans using Microsoft Project, including timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
- Project Support: Assist project managers in coordinating tasks, resources, and deliverables across project phases.
- Reporting & Documentation: Generate regular status updates using MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule, organize, and document project meetings; take detailed meeting minutes and follow up on action items.
- Task Tracking: Monitor project tasks and deadlines, proactively flagging risks, delays, and resource constraints.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain alignment and transparency.
- File & Information Management: Organize project documents, templates, and communications using SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 2-4 years of project coordination or administrative support experience
- Consulting experience preferred – the ability to hit the ground running as a Junior Project Coordinator
- Must be able to work independently and as a team
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to develop relationships
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project required
- Familiarity with SharePoint and Teams is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or related field preferred

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the hourly pay range is $40 to $45/HR depending on experience. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The hourly pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
