Consultant or Senior Consultant
This is a hybrid role based out of our Charlotte, NC office. Individuals must reside near the office location and have the ability to travel to the office or client site as needed for training, meetings, office events, and other purposes.
Who You’ll Work With
Slalom’s Delivery Capability is seeking a Product/Program Manager with a background in Financial Services to join our team to help our clients redefine what’s possible, give shape to the future, and get there. We focus on high-impact projects, meeting our clients where they are to uncover business needs, build credibility quickly, and deliver results.
You’ll bridge the gap between product strategy and development for clients in the financial services industry. Your ability to tailor delivery approaches—whether Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid—will be essential to helping clients meet evolving goals. You will lead cross-functional teams through the full lifecycle of complex engagements, from ideation to delivery, with a strong focus on transformative business outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Drive the execution of the front-to-back product development roadmap
- Create a testing plan and validate testing results to ensure a smooth rollout of the product
- Continuously leverage data and customer feedback to identify both problem areas and strategic opportunities for improvement
- Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to use quantitative and qualitative data points to drive high-quality decision making and make prioritization trade-offs
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in the financial services industry, specifically with multi-national tier 1 banks and/or insurers in one or more of the following industries: Retail or Commercial Banking, Wealth Management, Asset Management or Investment Management, General/Life Insurance providers, or related data/service providers or aggregators
- Technical background, preferably an undergraduate and/or graduate Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, financial engineering, or other STEM-related background.
- Excellent communication skills across verbal, written emails, and PowerPoints (e.g. visualizations, diagrams, etc.); Ability to succinctly discuss complex investment and/or technical concepts to various stakeholders across the organization.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to document specifications and communicate effectively across teams.
- Prudent judgement on risk management, impact on the client experience, and the ability to escalate as needed.
- Willingness to get into nuanced details necessary to drive high-quality decision-making and ensure prudent risk management that can impact the investment experience.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, high-quality investment products at scale
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, adhering to strict deadlines and evolving priorities
- Self-motivated and proactive team player who takes ownership of and accountability for projects

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range for a Consultant is $109,000 to $125,000, and for a Senior Consultant $125,000 to $143,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
