The Team
Central Asia practice is growing rapidly and is now looking for Analyst, Associate and Senior Associate professionals to help drive our continuous growth and serve our clients.
This is an exciting opportunity for candidates looking to build their expertise in Restructuring. You will support critical restructuring and turnaround initiatives across various industries, gaining hands-on experience in financial and operational challenges faced by companies.
You will work closely with senior team members and client stakeholders to analyze financial and operational challenges and help develop and implement solutions that create value. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in restructuring, turnaround, and transformation projects while learning from some of the best professionals in the field.
How you will contribute
As part of a select and highly skilled team you will have the opportunity to:
- Advise and implement alongside client’s executives, investors, lenders or any other stakeholders facing distressed situations
- Conduct diagnostic assessment of key issues and business outlook, appraisal of options & contingency planning and liquidity forecasting
- Develop and implement restructuring plans and integrated financial models as well as short term cash flow forecasting tools
- Evaluate business plans and financial projections, including assessments of risks and opportunities - Contribute to performance monitoring following business plan implementation
- Develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders
- Contribute to business development activities including the creation of client pitches and proposals to win new mandates
Qualification:
- Strong academic background combined with experience within a Restructuring team at a leading consultancy firm and/or relevant experience within the workout loans department of a bank;
- The ability to demonstrate experience in leading work streams in restructuring projects within a client engagement;
- Strong financial acumen;
- Advanced level of experience in financial modelling with ability to build 13-week cash flow forecast and 3-statement financial models with limited oversight;
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging, and uncertain environment;
- Excellent written and oral communications skills, confident and impactful presenter;
- Driven by values and integrity, talks straight, builds confidence and leads by example;
- Fluency in Russian and English is essential
