Position Summary
We are currently seeking a passionate, growth-minded, and intellectually curious health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) research specialist to join Trinity’s vibrant and growing Evidence Strategy / HEOR team.
The Evidence Strategy team is part of Trinity’s broader Evidence, Value, Access and Pricing (EVAP) group. Evidence Strategy provides strategic and tactical support to biotech, pharma, and medical device clients on many aspects of evidence planning, value creation and demonstration, and scientific communication through real-world HEOR.
This individual will help clients with foundational evidence identification and synthesis from secondary sources (PubMed, Embase, etc.) to support systematic and targeted literature reviews (SLRs/TLRs) and other downstream strategic evidence generation for innovative treatments and inform HEOR/RWE studies. Opportunity to be an author on peer-reviewed publications, abstracts/posters and more, based on their training, skill set and interest as well as opportunity to be client-facing. Other nice-to-have skills include experience with one or more of these HEOR methodologies: designing primary research (quantitative or qualitative) with patients, physicians, or payers including identifying the right patient-reported outcomes measures (PROMs), data analysis and reporting, analysis of RWE claims / EMR / registry studies, developing budget impact or cost-effectiveness models, and value communication activities.
These HEOR research specialists play a highly strategic role within the Evidence Strategy team and will have the opportunity to work closely with their peers globally as well as interaction with clients at leading Pharma, Biotech and Medical Device companies. Depending on their prior experience, they may also be responsible for employee management, project budget, training, mentoring and more. With exposure to the variety of strategic business issues covered by the Evidence, Value, Access and Pricing team, this position offers qualified candidates the opportunity to take on immediately challenging and rewarding roles, using both HEOR and Market Access lens to drive client success.

Essential Functions
- 5-8 years prior experience with systematic review methodologies using PRISMA guidelines as professional working in consulting or industry role is required.
- Conduct systematic searches of databases and literature sources to identify relevant studies.
- Develop and refine search strategies and inclusion/exclusion (PICOS) criteria.
- Screen and select studies based on predefined PICOS criteria.
- Extract and synthesize data from selected studies
- Analyze and interpret findings to draw evidence-based insights, including in client-facing presentation format.
- Prior work experience with one or more of the following HEOR project types will be nice-to-have and willingness to learn / grow into these project areas would be expected:
- Primary research (quantitative or qualitative) with patients, physicians, or payers including identifying the right patient-reported outcomes measures (PROMs)
- RWE claims / EMR / registry studies
- Budget impact or cost-effectiveness models
- Value communication activities such as AMCP or global value dossiers, pre-information exchange decks, and scientific publications
- Prepare study protocols, questionnaires / discussion guides, study reports, summaries, and presentations of findings across project types described above.
- Proficiency in reference management software (e.g., EndNote, Zotero)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders across Trinity locations to ensure high-quality and timely deliverables. Liaise with leadership and project team to ensure project outputs include strategically sound and actionable recommendations and answers to value, access, pricing client business questions, both high level and nuanced based on project type. Support team members as a workstream lead, both coordinating and guiding the work of more junior staff members and effectively communicating as a partner to project managers and leadership. Create and present client-ready materials, including research materials, interim deliverables, and final project reports. Provide thought leadership in evidence strategy in both client- and non-client-related activities (e.g., external conferences). Train and mentor junior staff on project teams, in internal training efforts, and through formal / informal mentorship. Lead and supports business development through creation of project proposals, including ability to understand strategic client needs, design project methodology, timeline, and budget. Support the growth of the EVAP function through involvement in internal initiatives focused on consultant’s professional development, training, resources.
Qualifications
Overall Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry or related fields; Master's or PhD preferred Experience conducting systematic literature reviews in consulting, industry, research or academic setting Proficiency in using literature databases and search tools Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Proven track record of relevant publication support or authorship (e.g., abstracts / posters at academic or industry conferences, peer-reviewed manuscript publications)
