Job Description
Sia Middle East is looking for bright and driven Manager with a solid background in the utilities sector, strong problem-solving capabilities, and a passion for delivering real impact through management consulting. This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing consulting firm and work on strategic transformation projects with leading utility companies in the region.
We are particularly interested in professionals who have demonstrated success in utility operations, strategy, or transformation projects and are now ready to take their consulting career to the next level.
Key Responsibilities
As a Manager, you will:
- Lead Strategic Projects: Oversee complex consulting engagements across the utilities sector, including strategy, digital transformation, operational excellence, regulatory advisory, and sustainability initiatives
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for senior clients, building trusted relationships with executives and stakeholders across public and private sector utility organizations
- Project Delivery & Team Leadership: Manage multi-disciplinary project teams, ensure high-quality deliverables, and provide mentorship and guidance to junior consultants
- Business Development: Contribute to the growth of the firm through opportunity identification, proposal development, and thought leadership in the utilities domain
- Market Insight & Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends (e.g., energy transition, smart grids, water conservation, ESG compliance) and bring forward innovative solutions tailored to regional challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the utilities sector, including 3–5 years in a consulting or strategic advisory role
- Deep understanding of utility operations, regulations, and sector transformation trends in the Middle East
- Proven ability to manage large-scale projects and lead client engagements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English and Arabic is a MUST
- Experience working with government stakeholders, regulators, or national utility companies is preferred
