Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Documentation:
- Write detailed documentation to capture the current state of systems and the desired future state.
- Technical Roadmaps:
- Understand and map out technical roadmaps for both current and desired states of systems.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Connect with various stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment.
- Travel:
- Travel as required to meet project needs and engage with stakeholders on-site.
- Tool Utilization:
- Use project management tools (Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, etc.) for tracking tasks, managing workflows, and collaboration.
- Utilize documentation and knowledge-sharing platforms for effective communication.
- Data Analysis:
- Pull and analyze data from databases to support decision-making and provide insights.
- Understanding Business Processes:
- Understand and document business processes, including customer journeys and loyalty programs.
- Application and Interface Interaction:
- Understand how different applications and interfaces interact within the ecosystem, including the use of APIs and direct access methods.
- Product Migration:
- Manage the migration of products, ensuring they connect via direct access, APIs, and other integration methods.
- Other Duties/Projects:
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned, including creating discovery documentation for various initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the loyalty or customer-facing sectors.
- Strong understanding of project management and documentation tools.
- Excellent documentation and technical writing skills.
- Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
- Experience with business processes and customer journey mapping.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the loyalty or customer-facing sectors.
- Strong understanding of project management and documentation tools.
- Excellent documentation and technical writing skills.
- Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
- Experience with business processes and customer journey mapping.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Willingness to travel as required by the project.
Salary And Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position depends on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
