About Our A&M Restructuring Group
A&M is rapidly expanding its presence in Australia and is looking to hire talented Graduates to join our growing team. These roles will involve working on some of the country's most complex and high-profile advisory and insolvency engagements. Core responsibilities include financial analysis, cash flow forecasting, financial modelling, market and business research, and preparation of reports and presentations to support clients in distressed and special situations.

The Role: What You’ll Do
As a Graduate Associate, you will assist your team in the delivery of client engagements, working alongside experienced practitioners to design and implement financial and operational restructuring strategies in both formal and informal contexts.
You will gain exposure to high-profile turnaround and insolvency situations, developing practical, hands-on skills across a range of industries. Your work will help shape outcomes for businesses in financial distress, providing stakeholders with clarity, confidence, and real solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing detailed financial and operational analysis to assess business viability, liquidity, and restructuring options
- Supporting the development of turnaround strategies, cash flow forecasting, and implementation plans
- Building and reviewing financial models and preparing client-ready reports and presentations
- Assisting with accelerated M&A processes, contingency planning, stakeholder negotiations and trade-on strategies
- Preparing detailed reports for a variety of stakeholders including lenders, boards, and regulators
- Contributing to multiple, concurrent engagements and maintaining high-quality delivery under required deadlines
- Conducting market research
- Undertaking investigations in insolvency appointments
- Participating in internal initiatives and contributing to business development efforts as part of your professional growth
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field, or on track to complete the degree within the next 6 months.
- Commenced CA or CPA qualification (or have a desire to do so)
- No minimum level of experience in this field. Prior working experience is taken into consideration
- Strong in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills including preparation of 3-statement and liquidity models highly regarded
- A demonstrated genuine interest in insolvency, turnaround and restructuring
