The Role: THL Internship (Travel, Hospitality & Leisure) London, Paris and Madrid (no visa sponsorship available for internships)
As an intern in our Travel, Hospitality & Leisure (THL) practice, you will support clients with a variety of commercial, strategic, and operational challenges specific to the sector.
Our client base spans a diverse set of stakeholders, including private equity and institutional investors, lenders, developers, and leading operators across the hospitality and leisure industries.
You will apply strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills to contribute to engagements including:
• Transformation & Change Management — support large-scale organizational change, operational restructuring, value creation initiatives (e.g., non-core divestitures, performance improvement), and post-merger integration or carve-out programs
• Transactions & Due Diligence — assist in buy- and sell-side commercial and operational diligence
• Strategic & Commercial Advisory — conduct market and feasibility studies, develop and review business plans
In addition to client-facing work, you will support internal THL team initiatives and contribute to internal projects and knowledge building.
Over the course of your internship, you will gain exposure across multiple facets of consulting and the THL sector, while developing your technical toolkit and communication skills. You will also have the opportunity to engage with senior stakeholders and contribute meaningfully to project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with senior management and support business development initiatives.
• Support project team members with analyses and research.
• Conduct essential strategic research and market analysis.
• Perform research on potential targets and help prepare “points of view” documents.
• Support commercial activities, including preparing materials for client pitches.
• Assist in managing intelligence on forthcoming deals.
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, with an interest in consulting.
• Strong Excel skills, with the ability to distil large datasets into a simple format.
• Proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent business-level English (mandatory).
• Additional European language skills (French, Dutch, German, Italian, or Spanish) are highly desirable but not essential.
• Necessary visa/work permit to be employed during the internship program.
