Key Responsibilities
As part of our team, you will:
- Drive the month-end closing process and perform reconciliations to meet deadlines.
- Maintain accurate and audit-ready accounting records.
- Ensure compliance with IQVIA’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and local regulations.
- Provide expert support to business partners and assist them in making informed financial decisions.
- Identify opportunities to optimize processes and suggest innovative solutions.
- Manage detailed account reconciliations and resolve open items in a timely manner.
- Play an active role in Finance-related projects and assume responsibility for regional tasks or small legal entities.
- Mentor junior colleagues, sharing your expertise and fostering a collaborative environment.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in accounting or an equivalent combination
- Advance English in speaking and writing
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft Finance modules – is not used in Europe
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (mainly Excel)
- Good analytical and numeracy skills.
- Additional skills:
- Ability to identify financial issues and execute mitigating actions.
- Â Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.
