West Monroe is currently seeking a Functional Business Analyst (Experienced Consultant) to work with clients as a member of our Energy& Utilities Industry Practices at West Monroe. You will be staffed on a project and be an integral part of our teams that identify, shape and deliver high value transformation programs to respond to the strategic business challenges of our clients. The West Monroe Utilities practice is at the forefront of the transformation taking place in the energy and utilities industry, from up-front strategic advisement through implementation of asset management and field service technologies that are central to managing the grid.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with internal project teams and clients to implement processes and technology that support business value and process efficiency across business and technical functions
- Work closely with the business owners to create new business processes
- Participate in client workshops focused on future state of the industry, design future state business process and requirements
- Support detailed requirements gathering
- Develop client-ready communications that facilitate decision making, communicate status, mitigate risk or resolve issues
- Participate in the creation of project related deliverables such as project plans, implementation plans, communication plans, and financial models
- Work closely with engagement management to reduce project risk
- Interface with all levels of management both internally and with clients
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in a team-based environment and working directly with external clients/internal stakeholders
- Ability to effectively create and deliver client facing content utilizing Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Sharepoint, Teams, etc).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, display excellent judgment, and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to hand multiple priorities
- Ability to develop a sense of urgency and respond appropriately
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment on large initiatives
- Strong project management and leadership skills to manage and drive concurrent small to large projects for one team
- A commitment to inclusion and diversity, and openness to new ideas and perspectives
- Professional experience or knowledge working in the energy or utilities industry
- Excellent communication ability with team members and clients in English

Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role can vary. Information on our competitive total rewards package, including our bonus structure and benefits is here. Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity. An estimated base salary for this role is below:

$36,000—$42,000 USD
