People and Operations Specialist (fixed term contract - mat cover) 50 - 80% January 2026 - October 2026

Primary Responsibilities
The roles and responsibilities of the HR Specialist 50-80% will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Scheduling and organising phone screens and assessment centres for Zurich and London
- Supporting the Europe People Director with HR administrative activities
- Providing in-person, local office operational support as needed for the Zurich office
Desired Experience and Skills
- 2+ years experience in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German
- Superb organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Extremely tech-savvy
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint a MUST
- Ability to quickly build proficiency in other programs
- Passionate, curious and open-minded personality with proactive approach to anticipating the needs of our team
- Ability to work in an agile and dynamic environment, flexing to support the needs of our team
- Please note this role can be hybrid between in-person/remote working, but will require a minimum of 2.5 days in-person at the Blue Matter Zurich office
- CH work authorisation
