KPMG is currently seeking a Specialist Director, Project / Program Management to join our KPMGI Tax and Legal Team. This is a hybrid work opportunity out of our Atlanta Ignition location.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee program governance, develop and execute communication plans, manage status reporting, and ensure alignment and timely delivery of project milestones across teams and stakeholders
- Collaborate with Finance for budget analysis, financial reporting, and variance analysis; prepare and manage annual budgets aligned with program objectives
- Coordinate platform integration for KPMG Member Firms and Service Lines, document stakeholders, and support integration activities by aligning business goals and roadmap priorities
- Create and maintain the technology roadmap, coordinate backlog management using agile tools (such as Azure DevOps, Kanban), and ensure timely resolution of product backlog requests
- Partner with teams across business, technology, finance, marketing, and learning to support platform adoption, content development, and training resources
- Provide program coordination, including agenda development, meeting notes, presentation materials, and follow-up actions to ensure effective program execution
- Act with integrity, professionalism and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum ten years of recent experience in program or project management ideally in global tax or technology environments with advanced knowledge of program governance, project planning, and execution
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business, finance, technology or related field is required
- Experience with technology roadmaps, product backlog management, and agile methodologies (such as Scrum, Kanban), using tools such as Azure DevOps, MS Teams, and SharePoint
- Strong budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting skills, including variance analysis and annual budget management
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a global, matrixed, and fast-paced environment; strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to support platform adoption and user enablement, including intranet content management, training material development, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset; relevant certifications (PMP, Agile) are advantageous, with experience in tax technology, finance, or professional services
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting senior leadership, facilitating demos, and building strong relationships across business, technology, finance, marketing, and learning teams
