As a People and Culture Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Contribute directly to the development of the Business Unit’s People Managers by coaching them to excel in their people management responsibilities
- Support the cultural integration of our merged-in colleagues with a focus on coaching people managers
- Reinforce the development of a coaching culture as a way of inspiring our people and our clients
- Bring the firm’s Purpose to life as the why for all important decisions, goals and activities
- Connect in inspirational ways with our P&C team and leaders in the business unit and work with them to prioritize successful attraction, engagement and development of talent
- Role model collaboration, shared leadership, inclusion and a coaching orientation in all interactions – every touch leaves a trace
- Execute the National Inclusiveness strategy in the Business Unit to integrate the firm’s commitment to inclusion in all people practices
- Facilitate development programs locally and firm-wide when needed
- Collaborate with your colleagues across the country to execute on the strategic People and Culture vision and share knowledge and best practices
- Execute on the cyclical HR processes and administration for various locations

This role requires you to build strong connections within People & Culture, as well as with local leadership teams. Supporting our continued growth, this role will include being responsible for three newly merged locations in Prince Rupert, Terrace and Smithers BC. We are flexible on the location of this role for the right person and will consider Prince Rupert, Terrace, Vancouver, Surrey or Langley supporting colleagues locally and in various locations across British Columbia. As we believe in-person connections build strong, deep relationships, periodic travel to and within the northern BC offices is expected. Travel within the lower mainland will depend on the home office location.

- Proven ability to inspire a team, articulate a vision and influence stakeholders and leaders
- Experience working in a fast-paced atmosphere where a sense of urgency has been demonstrated
- Knowledge of current legislation related to employment as well as current HR theories and practices including recruitment, policy, change management, and performance management
- Ability to develop rapport with individuals across the firm, representing different perspectives, backgrounds and levels
- Demonstrated experience in facilitation for small and large groups
- Great business acumen and the ability to bring this to life operationally day to day
- Demonstrated experience coaching and leading teams through change management
- Ability to travel locally and within BC with pre-planning and notice
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Human Resource role
- Post-secondary education required; HR-related education and CHRP will be an asset
- Experience working in a professional services or public practice environment considered an asset

We benchmark regularly across a wide spectrum of roles, industries, sectors, and levels to ensure our ranges are both competitive and current. But we don’t stop there. We also consider the unique strengths, experiences, and impact each individual brings to the table. Our salary ranges are reviewed annually, and where you land within the range depends on a mix of factors—your background, your skills, and how your contributions align with internal equity. To help start the conversation, the current salary range for this role is $85,000–$120,000 in Prince Rupert, BC. If the role is available in other locations, the range may differ to reflect local market factors.
