Mercer’s Career Consulting Team is seeking qualified candidates for the following position based in Buenos Aires:
Senior Consultant - Human Capital Consulting
- You will join a team of passionate consultants who have a wealth of expertise in employee and executive career management, rewards, and organization transformation.
- You will be able to tap into the expertise across the organization and work with a broad range of colleagues and clients, all while contributing your own knowledge and experiences to work in a highly collaborative and stable environment
- You will collaborate on the customer relationship management of the geography (Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay) helping to develop the relations with clients and building our continuous human capital knowledge on leading industries
- You will contribute to enable team efforts and integrate solutions into client value proposals with your expertise and Mercer unique knowledge
- You will manage innovative projects that evaluate an organization’s current approach to identify Talent & Human Capital solutions that may include compensation, leadership, development, among others and suggest actionable and sustainable changes that can increase employee satisfaction and improve retention.
We will count on you to:
- Lead the development and selling activity of commercial proposals/solutions.
- Proactively contact clients to position and sell the full Mercer's portfolio.
- Responsible for Key accounts (grow Mercer + Marsh business in these accounts)
- Identify new business opportunities with clients and manages proposal process.
- Independently facilitates client meetings and acts as a trusted advisor to Clients.
- Develop expertise in at least one practice area or industry that allows you to become a referent of the GEO in a specific solution/industry/area of expertise.
- Delegate assignments to junior level colleagues and reviews output for alignment with project needs.
- Lead the development of client ready reports, with minimal guidance.
- Execute project delivery when needed. For large or complex projects collaborate on planning and execution management .
- Ensure Mercer's way of working and values are taught to less experienced colleagues.
What you need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Engineer, Business Administration, Management or Psychology.
- Solid & relevant work experience in Management Consulting / Human resources with strong project management experience.
- Strong experience creating & implementing solutions or programs (desirable if in Human Capital area).
- Excellent project management and ability to manage multiple task and activities with strong attention to details.
- Strong data analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, and a strong background in data processing applications (eg: Excel, PowerBI, etc)
- Customer focus & orientation
- Ability to develop relationships & influence in various business areas including executive leaders.
- Possess excellent leadership, collaboration & networking skills.
- Curiosity & Mental Agility
- Flexibility, agility, adaptability and the ability to work under tight deadlines or changing client needs.
- Highly driven, confident, resilient, positive and motivated individual.
- Advance English proficiency.
- Strong verbal and written communications as well as strong presentation skills both in English and Spanish.
