This role is within the Turnaround & Operational Restructuring vertical of FASS, focusing on helping underperforming businesses stabilize operations, restore liquidity, and drive sustainable performance
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
As an Associate / Senior Associate in A&M’s TOR team, the candidate will work on:
Analytical & Execution Excellence
- Conduct financial, operational, and industry research to support client engagements
- Analyse financial statements, MIS, and transaction data with structured rigor
- Build and maintain Excel models, trackers, and analyses with high accuracy
- Identify key trends, risks, variances, and value drivers; surface actionable insights
- Break down complex problems into structured, logical components
Project Management & Ownership
- Own assigned workstreams and deliver outputs within timelines
- Prioritize tasks and manage competing demands effectively
- Track time and project costs weekly with discipline
- Act on feedback from clients and senior stakeholders promptly
- Continuously improve processes, efficiency, and risk controls
Client Management & Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage independently with clients and senior stakeholders
- Manage data requests, clarifications, and interim discussions
- Set clear expectations on scope and deliverables
- Build client trust through strong work ethic and confidentiality
- Deliver high-quality outputs that meet or exceed client expectations
Communication & Presentation
- Create client-ready Excel outputs and presentation decks
- Communicate insights clearly, concisely, and confidently
- Distil complex analyses into structured narratives and recommendations
- Respond to stakeholder questions succinctly and effectively
Team Collaboration & Development
- Collaborate effectively within project teams
- Support and guide junior team members as needed

Basic Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate – CA Freshers or Undergrad in Finance / Commerce / Business Studies with 2 years work experience.
- Senior Associate - CA / CFA / MBA with 2+ years of experience, preferably in consulting, corporate finance, or restructuring
