The Team
A&M’s Global Transaction Advisory Group (TAG) is one of the largest transaction advisory practices outside the Big Four, partnering with leading private equity firms and multinational corporates on high-profile deals across the full transaction lifecycle.
In Europe, our TAG professionals work on cross-border engagements spanning Germany, the wider EMEA region, and globally—collaborating closely with Managing Directors and senior leaders while gaining broad sector exposure.

How you will contribute
- Prepare high-quality financial due diligence deliverables, including Quality of Earnings (QoE) analyses, net working capital and net debt analyses, financial fact books, and cash flow and financing models.
- Conduct market and competitive benchmarking to provide commercial context to diligence findings.
- Assess and test business plans for plausibility, including revenue, margin, cash flow, and capital expenditure assumptions.
- Support buy-side and sell-side M&A projects across national and international processes, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Develop clear, insight-led reports and client-ready presentations that highlight key issues, risks, and value-creation levers.
- Contribute to internal knowledge development and assist with proposal preparation and workplan design as needed.
Qualifications
- Excellent university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and a high affinity for data, with confident command of MS Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data analytics tools is an advantage.
- Knowledge of accounting standards and guidelines (HGB, IFRS, US GAAP).
- Relevant internships or experience with consulting firms, private equity funds, investment banking, or industry finance.
- Strong business acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex findings clearly.
- Excellent German and English language skills; additional languages are an advantage.
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
