The Team
The team provides performance improvement advisory for manufacturers and distributors by diagnosing operations, evaluating facility operability, analyzing production/maintenance data, and validating findings on the shop floor. They identify cost levers (Lean, Six Sigma, TOC, outsourcing, consolidation), design transformation plans with risk mitigations, and oversee execution to deliver measurable results; analysts use strong fact-gathering, process mapping, and quantitative skills across manufacturing, supply chain, and continuous improvement.
Position Description
As an Analyst in our team you will gain experience in Performance Improvement and consulting advisory services. Furthermore, you will have exposure to a variety of products and have the chance to immediately interact with clients. It is expected that you will continue to take on more responsibilities as your transaction execution skills are refined.
How you will contribute
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of a target’s manufacturing and distribution operations-- organization design, production capacity, efficiency, quality, planning, warehousing and team capability
- Evaluate the maintainability and operability of production facilities
- Review current and historical data to understand efficiency & capacity, including equipment conditions, maintenance logs, spare parts and detailed production numbers
- Provide shop floor insights by talking with employees and customers and reviewing all available data
- Identify potential cost improvement opportunities through lean improvements, outsourcing or consolidation of facilities
- Develop transformation plans to drive proposed changes and identify key risks and mitigation strategies
- Implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance.
Qualifications
- For Analyst 2 to 4 years of experience in performance improvement, operations and/or consulting is preferred. A combination of experience in corporate positions with a financial or accounting focus is also desirable.
- Deep functional expertise in at least one of the following areas:
- Manufacturing Operations, SI&OP
- Supply Chain Operations
- Lean, Six Sigma, TOC and Value Engineering
- Excellent fact-gathering and analytical skills, including business process mapping and quantitative analysis
- Previous strategy and change management experience.
