Team Profile:
Alvarez & Marsal’s Business Transformation Services (BTS) practice represents the firm’s management consulting platform, working closely with private equity investors, promoter-led enterprises, and leading corporates to address complex strategic and operational challenges. The team supports clients across growth strategy, performance improvement, EBITDA transformation, revenue acceleration, commercial and operational diligence, and large-scale business transformation programs, helping leadership teams unlock sustainable value.
The practice works across a wide range of sectors including Industrials, Consumer & Retail, Automotive, Energy, Metals & Mining, Financial Services, Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals, Digital & Technology, Food & Agriculture, and Logistics & Infrastructure.
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
Problem Solving & Project Delivery
- Work on engagements spanning growth strategy, ebitda transformation, commercial and operational diligence, performance improvement, revenue acceleration, and large-scale transformation programs across industries
- Apply structured problem solving and rigorous analysis to break down complex business challenges and develop actionable solutions
- Conduct market assessments, industry research, and expert discussions to build outside-in perspectives on industries, markets, and competitive dynamics
- Analyze company financials, operating drivers, and commercial metrics to identify opportunities for growth, profitability improvement, and operational excellence
- Develop strategic recommendations and value creation initiatives, and work closely with client leadership teams to help translate these into tangible business outcomes and sustained impact
Execution & Ownership
- Take ownership of project modules and deliver high-quality outputs within tight timelines
- Rapidly build a deep understanding of client businesses, industry dynamics, and key value drivers
- Adapt quickly across industries, business problems, and project contexts while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment
Communication & Insight Synthesis
- Communicate ideas and insights in a clear, structured, and compelling manner
- Develop high-quality presentations that translate complex analysis into concise, executive-ready messages
- Actively contribute to hypothesis-driven problem solving and team discussions
Collaboration & Team Development
- Work closely with diverse consulting teams and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance team environment
- Build strong working relationships across the team and actively contribute to collective problem solving

Eligibility Criteria:
- Obtained All India rank in CA Final Exams or
- Obtained All India rank in any of the CA Exams or secured more than 65% marks in CA Final and completed at least 1 year of articleship from any of the following firms - EY, KPMG, PwC, Deloitte, BDO & Grant Thornton
