Job Description
This role is responsible for reviewing, analysing, and resolving transactional issues, working through backlogs, and ensuring all case management activities follow clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
No specific prior experience is required and could suit junior resource from Graduate up or someone wanting a solid stable piece of work over the next 6+ months.
The role can be either Melbourne or Sydney based with the majority of work able to be done remotely.
Job Requirements
- Experience in financial services, banking, superannuation, or other regulated industries.
- Diligent, reliable, and consistent in following structured procedures.
- Comfortable working with repetitive tasks that require high accuracy.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset with a focus on finding root causes.
- Strong analytical ability with a methodical and process‑driven approach.
- Ability to follow defined processes consistently while identifying improvements where needed.

Beneficial Attributes
- Experience in operations, remediation, compliance, risk administration, or transaction processing.
- Prior experience working on remediation programs, backlogs, or quality assurance tasks.
- Experience working with structured documentation, workflows, or SOPs.
- Excellent written documentation skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Investigate and analyse transactions requiring remediation, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
- Work through backlogs of historical cases and ensure timely and compliant resolution.
- Manage individual cases end‑to‑end, following established SOPs and quality standards.
- Document findings, decisions, and actions clearly for audit and reporting purposes.
- Interpret and apply detailed SOPs consistently across all activities.
- Identify gaps or inconsistencies in current processes and recommend enhancements.
- Support the creation, maintenance, and improvement of SOPs and process maps.
- Ensure data accuracy in all reporting and administrative tasks.
