Managing Consultant – Technology Strategy & Cloud Advisory

Role Overview
We are seeking a Managing Consultant with approximately 5–8 years of consulting experience in IT strategy and advisory, with a strong focus on cloud strategy, data transformation, and AI-driven business solutions.
This role requires a blend of strategic consulting capability, technology expertise, financial acumen, and pre-sales experience to help clients define, shape, and execute their digital transformation agendas.
Ideal candidates will have prior experience in top-tier technology or management consulting firms such as Accenture, IBM, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, or similar environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Engagement, Advisory & Delivery
- Lead and deliver consulting engagements focused on IT strategy, cloud strategy, and enterprise technology transformation, including data modernization and AI/ML adoption.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, translating technology strategies into measurable business outcomes.
- Develop high-quality client deliverables including business cases, TCO/ROI analyses, operating models, transformation roadmaps, and executive presentations.
2. Technology Strategy & Solutioning
- Assess clients’ current IT and cloud landscapes and define future-state architectures across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Provide strategic advisory on cloud adoption models, platform selection, governance frameworks, and cost optimization.
- Collaborate closely with technical and delivery teams to ensure solution designs align with business priorities and strategic objectives.
3. Financial & Commercial Acumen
- Lead business case development, including Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis, ROI modeling, and benefits realization tracking.
- Support executive decision-making through financial justification of technology investments.
- Contribute actively to pre-sales activities, including proposal development, solution shaping, effort estimation, pricing, and client presentations.
4. Pre-Sales, Practice Development & Leadership
- Support pre-sales engagements by responding to RFPs/RFIs, conducting client workshops, and articulating differentiated value propositions.
- Contribute to practice and capability development across IT strategy, cloud strategy, and digital transformation.
- Develop thought leadership, reusable assets, and methodologies, and participate in industry forums and client events.
- Mentor junior consultants and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in technology consulting, with emphasis on IT strategy/advisory and cloud strategy.
- Proven experience in business case development and TCO analysis for large-scale technology initiatives.
- Hands-on exposure to pre-sales and business development activities.
- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferred).
- Experience working in agile delivery environments.
- Ability to manage and influence cross-functional and global teams.
