Job Title: Salesforce - Senior Business Analyst
You are an experience Salesforce Business Analyst a passion for solving complex business and technology problems. You work closely with the Product Owner and Solution Architect to drive a shared understanding of business needs and outcomes. You enable efficient and quality solution design through clear requirements, reducing delivery risk by minimizing ambiguity and rework. You support collaboration across client and Slalom delivery teams throughout our project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Lead client discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews to understand business objectives, current-state processes, and pain points
- Elicit and document business requirements aligned to Salesforce capabilities
- Translate business needs into epics, features, and user stories with acceptance criteria
- Create process maps that demonstrate a client’s business workflows to assist in stakeholder alignment
- Capture data, reporting, security, and user experience needs at a functional level
- Validate requirements with stakeholders and confirm priorities and scope
- Create a backlog and discovery outputs (requirements summary, assumptions, risks, process flows)
- Establish and implement a process for user story refinement
- Support creation of implementation estimates and plans for phases of the delivery lifecycle, including development, testing, training, communication, deployment, and post-production support
- Demonstrate solution functionality to business stakeholders, as needed
- Present solution options to customer, evaluating the pros and cons of declarative configuration against code and customization with support from your architecture team
- Perform impact analysis for scope change requests, document changes to requirements, configuration, and data mapping
- Develop test cases from approved acceptance criteria to validate requirements before deployment
- Lead or support Sprint, System and Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing
- Participate in training content development and conduct Administrator and end-user training
- Ability to participate in declarative system configuration, when necessary, a plus
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce system implementations and proven understanding of a full software development lifecycle
- Content knowledge - Experience designing and implementing Salesforce solutions; Industry knowledge in Public Sector, Non-Profit, Healthcare or Financial Services a plus.
- Analytical techniques - Experience leading requirements gathering sessions and documenting the outcome, including designing process flows and helping define test scripts
- System configuration - Ability to effectively design a scalable solution to meet client business needs, and participate in system configuration when necessary
- Project management -Demonstrated analytical skills and experience with the complete lifecycle of complex enterprise projects; understanding of core project management concepts, theories, practices, and methods
- Change management and scope control - Experience performing impact analysis for potential changes in scope; ability to administer change management processes within a specified framework, including regularly reviewing issues management and change control logs to understand status and identify potential risk situations
- Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Jira, Azure DevOps and Rally
- Experience using AI tools to generate requirements, user stories and write test scripts
- Understanding of the Salesforce product suite including core platforms (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud).Knowledge of additional specialty or industry clouds (ex. Marketing, Life Sciences, Financial Service Cloud) a plus.
- Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges:
Salary Ranges:
East Bay, San Francisco, Silicon Valley:
- Sr. Consultant: $159,000 - $194,000
San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County, Seattle, Boston, New Jersey, New York City, Washington DC, Westchester:
- Sr. Consultant: $146,000 - $178,000
All Other Locations:
- Sr. Consultant: $135,000 - $165,000
In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
