We are looking for a proactive Data Analyst to support data analysis, data quality, and process improvement across key datasets. This role sits at the intersection of data analysis, technical problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration. After onboarding, you will be expected to work independently, taking ownership of complex problems to deliver clear end-to-end outcomes. This role is perfect for someone who is technically hands-on, highly analytical, and ready to mentor more junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data analysis using SQL and Python.
- Investigate complex data issues through deep analysis of structures and conduct root cause analysis to implement sustainable fixes.
- Work with APIs to extract data and use Python libraries for analysis, automation, and technical investigation.
- Analyse end-to-end processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Creation and maintenance of data quality rules in Data quality management tool (Ataccama)
- Define and document business and technical requirements for system enhancements.
- Support testing of new solutions and work with Git to support controlled delivery.
- Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders and deliver clear end-to-end outcomes.
- Mentor junior team members and help raise analytical standards across the team.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
- Experience: At least 4 years of relevant experience in data analysis, data quality, or a similar technical role
- Technical Core: Strong SQL skills and practical experience with Python.
- Technical Applications: Experience using Python libraries for data processing, API interaction, and troubleshooting, alongside Git for version control.
- Soft Skills: A high level of independence, a strong ownership mentality, and a structured approach to problem-solving.
Desirable Skills & Environment (Nice-to-Have)
- Experience with Ataccama, Neo4j, or Snowflake is a plus
- Background in (Re)Insurance, Banking or Financial services is a plus
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence
