About The Role

Responsibilities
Both roles will be hands‑on positions with strong learning and development built in. Initially, you will be closely involved in the practical delivery of insolvency and restructuring engagements, building a deep understanding of how distressed situations are managed in real terms. The Directors are willing to grow the right person from the ground up, and to start off with the key responsibilities include:
- Managing day-to-day work across formal insolvency appointments, independent business reviews and restructuring engagements.
- Assessing companies’ financial positions, short-term cash flow, asset recoveries and creditor outcomes.
- Analysing financial records, business performance, security positions and underlying stakeholder interests to inform strategy and decision-making.
- Supporting trading administrations, receiverships, liquidations and other turnaround or recovery processes, often in time-critical situations.
- Assisting with investigations into company affairs, transactions and stakeholder positions, including preparing clear findings and recommendations.
- Developing and implementing asset realisation and recovery strategies to maximise returns for secured and unsecured creditors.
- Liaising confidently with banks, legal advisers, directors, management teams, creditors and other stakeholders throughout an engagement.
- Preparing high-quality reports, correspondence and statutory documentation to support appointments and meet legal and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinating workstreams across multiple engagements, managing competing priorities and contributing to timely delivery for clients and stakeholders.
- Supporting senior team members in identifying commercial issues, managing risks and progressing restructuring or insolvency strategies.
As capability and confidence grow, there is a clear pathway into more advisory‑focused and client‑facing work. If you are an experience insolvency specialist then you may be provided a higher degree of exposure immediately.
