Role Summary
As a Senior Consultant, you will lead workstreams on end-to-end procurement transformation engagements — from diagnostic through design and implementation. You will manage day-to-day client relationships, drive process redesign and technology-adoption, and contribute to proposal development and practice growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement transformation delivery: Lead workstreams on procurement operating model redesign, category strategy development, and source-to-pay process optimization. Define current-state pain points, design future-state processes, and manage implementation of roadmaps with the client PMO.
- Stakeholder management: Build and maintain trusted relationships with client procurement leads, CFOs, and business unit heads. Facilitate workshops, present findings to senior audiences, and manage expectations across multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- PMO & project governance: Own project tracking, risk and issue logs, status reporting, and milestone management. Coordinating across client and GEP workstream leads to ensure delivery quality and timelines.
- Data analytics & reporting: Conduct spend analytics, supplier segmentation, and savings opportunity assessments using Power BI, Tableau, or Excel. Build executive dashboards and KPI frameworks for ongoing performance tracking.
- Process optimization: Map and redesign S2P, contract management, and supplier onboarding processes. Identify automation and digitization opportunities. Support GEP SMART functional configuration and adoption.
- Proposal & business development: Contribute to RFP responses, client presentations, and thought leadership content. Support senior leaders in expanding existing client relationships and identifying new opportunities in Chile and LatAm.
Requirements
Essential
- 5+ years of consulting experience in procurement transformation, supply chain, or operations at a recognized firm (Big 4, strategy boutique, or specialist)
- Demonstrated delivery of at least two end-to-end procurement transformation projects with measurable outcomes (cost savings, process efficiency, adoption)
- Business English proficiency at B2 level or above — used in client delivery, presentations, and written communications (language assessment included)
- Strong analytical skills: spend analytics, savings modeling, KPI design — proficient in Excel; Power BI or Tableau a strong plus
- Proven stakeholder management: comfortable presenting to C-suite and managing multi-functional client teams
Preferred
- Experience implementing in functional manner procurement technology (SAP Ariba, Coupa, GEP SMART, Oracle)
- Category management experience across indirect or direct spend categories
- CPSM, PMP, or APICS CSCP certification
- Industry experience in mining
