The Company
Our client is a leading diversified group with investments across multiple industries. As part of its continued growth, the Group is expanding its Investment team to support strategic investments, acquisitions, joint ventures, and business expansion initiatives.
The Positions
We are seeking an Investment Associate (Senior) and an Investment Analyst (Junior) to join the Group's Investment team. Both positions will support the identification, evaluation, and execution of investment opportunities across a diverse portfolio, with exposure to senior management and key investment decision-makers. Responsibilities will include financial and investment modelling, valuation, financial and commercial due diligence, feasibility studies, market and industry analysis, and investment appraisal.
The Investment Analyst will focus on financial analysis, modelling, valuation, market research, due diligence support, and preparation of investment materials. The role will work closely with senior team members across the transaction lifecycle and offers strong exposure to evaluating investments across different sectors.
The Investment Associate will take greater ownership of investment evaluations and transaction workstreams. Responsibilities will include developing and reviewing complex financial models, leading valuation and due diligence analysis, assessing investment returns and risks, challenging key assumptions, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external advisors, and developing recommendations for senior management and Investment Committee review.
The Person
For the Investment Analyst, candidates should have approximately 2–5 years of relevant experience, preferably within Big Four Transaction Advisory, Deals, Corporate Finance, Valuation, or Due Diligence teams such as Deloitte, PwC, KPMG, or EY. Hands-on exposure to financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, feasibility studies, and transaction advisory is preferred.
For the Investment Associate, candidates should bring approximately 6–10 years of experience, ideally from Big Four Deals/Transaction Advisory, investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or investment advisory. Strong expertise in investment modelling and due diligence is essential, including the ability to independently evaluate acquisitions and investment opportunities, assess returns and risks, and advise senior stakeholders.
Candidates should hold a relevant Bachelor's Degree, with CFA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, or MBA advantageous. Strong Excel modelling, analytical, communication, and presentation skills are essential.
