WorkForce Suite Consultant – Time & Absence
Work Location: Anywhere in India
Role Summary We are seeking an experienced ADP WorkForce Suite Consultant specializing in Time & Attendance and Absence/Leave Management to join our Workday practice. The consultant will configure, implement, and support the WorkForce Suite platform across client engagements, translating complex pay rules, scheduling requirements, and leave policies into scalable, compliant configurations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead or support end-to-end configuration of WorkForce Suite Time & Attendance and Absence/Leave modules, including time capture rules, pay rule engines, rounding/overtime logic, and shift/schedule rules.
Gather and analyse business requirements from clients; translate them into WorkForce Suite functional design and configuration specification documents.
Configure timekeeping rules, including complex pay codes, premiums, differentials, rounding rules, and union/collective bargaining agreement (CBA) requirements. Design and build absence and leave policies — PTO, FMLA, STD/LTD, maternity/paternity, military, continuous and intermittent leave — including eligibility rules, accrual logic, carryover/proration, and grandfather rules.
Configure approval workflows, notifications, and self-service request processes for time-off and leave requests.
Set up and maintain employee groups, work rules, schedules, and compliance templates across multiple countries/geographies as required (WorkForce Suite supports 35+ pre-built country templates).
Support integrations between WorkForce Suite and HCM/payroll platforms (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP, Oracle) via APIs/connectors. Conduct configuration testing, system integration testing (SIT), and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
Troubleshoot production issues, tickets, and configuration defects related to time and absence processing.
Track platform release updates, assess impact on existing configurations, and coordinate regression testing.
Prepare end-user training materials, job aids, and knowledge transfer documentation for HR, payroll, and manager audiences.
Collaborate with HCM/payroll module teams to ensure a consistent, end-to-end workforce management solution.
Participate in client workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and steering committee discussions as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
2–3+ years of dedicated ADP WorkForce Suite (WorkForce Software) configuration experience, ideally across a full implementation lifecycle.
Strong understanding of time and attendance rule structures: pay rules, rounding, overtime calculations, shift differentials, and premium pay.
Hands-on experience with absence/leave policy design: accrual plans, eligibility rules, carryover/proration, compliance-driven leave types (FMLA, statutory leave, etc.).
Experience configuring approval workflows and employee/manager self-service processes. Familiarity with multi-country compliance templates and configurable business rules for global or unionized workforces.
Exposure to integrations with HCM/payroll systems (ADP, Workday, SAP, Oracle) via REST APIs or prebuilt connectors.
Understanding of release management processes and impact assessment for platform updates. Strong analytical, documentation, and client communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple client deliverables and timelines independently.
