What You Will Do
As a Associate - Product Management, you will own the roadmap of a product area within GEP COSTDRIVERS, our market intelligence, price forecasting and cost modeling platform. You will work in a product trio with a UX Designer and the engineering team. Your role is strongly business-focused: you make sure that everything we prioritize is aligned with GEP's strategic goals and creates measurable value for our clients and for the company.
- Define, maintain and communicate the product roadmap for your area, aligning priorities with stakeholders across Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and Data/Economics, and validating them with directors.
- Translate company strategy into clear product goals, defining OKRs and success metrics for each initiative.
- Lead product discovery together with UX: run client interviews, analyze usage data, map problems and validate hypotheses before committing engineering effort.
- Own backlog prioritization using explicit criteria (value, effort, risk, business impact), and make trade-off decisions on scope and timing with engineering.
- Write clear product specifications (epics/PRDs) covering problem context, scope, acceptance criteria and success metrics.
- Partner with engineering throughout refinement, planning and delivery, removing blockers and keeping the team focused on outcomes.
- Define tracking plans and monitor post-launch performance (adoption, engagement, retention, revenue impact), using the results to iterate.
- Work with Product Marketing on launches, providing the product context needed for positioning, messaging and sales enablement.
- Communicate status, decisions and results clearly to different audiences, from engineers to leadership.
- Keep up with the procurement and cost intelligence market (competitors, client needs and AI-driven opportunities) and bring these insights into product decisions.
What Should You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Knowledge in product management, preferably in B2B SaaS.
- Proven experience owning a roadmap and prioritizing with multiple stakeholders.
- Advanced English, with the ability to lead meetings with international teams (day-to-day work is in Portuguese). Spanish is a plus.
Other Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable defining metrics, analyzing usage data and turning it into decisions.
- Hands-on experience with product discovery, prioritization frameworks and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Familiarity with product analytics tools (e.g., PostHog, Amplitude, Mixpanel), BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or SQL is a strong plus.
- Experience with data or market intelligence products, AI/LLM-based features, or APIs and integrations is a plus.
- Knowledge of procurement, supply chain or corporate finance is a plus.
