Mid/Senior Personal Data Protection Analyst – Lisbon
Taleo Consulting is looking for a Senior Personal Data Protection Analyst to join the Corporate & Institutional Banking division of a leading international banking group in Lisbon.
About the role
You will lead day-to-day GDPR activities within the first line of defence (1LoD). You will act as a trusted advisor to CIB teams on Privacy by Design principles and other data protection requirements, working closely with the Central Data Office, the 1LoD data protection network and the second-line (2LoD) DPO network.
Your responsibilities
- Ensure project validation processes follow Privacy by Design principles, and advise Project Managers on their data protection activities
- Manage incoming internal and external requests in the GDPR desk mailbox, including Data Subject Rights requests
- Publish the GDPR desk’s periodic report and manage its dedicated SharePoint space
- Drive a strong data protection culture across the division
- Develop and share best practices with the data protection network
Your profile
- 6+ years of experience in data protection, privacy or compliance, ideally in banking or financial services
- In-depth knowledge of GDPR, including Privacy by Design, privacy impact assessments and Data Subject Rights
- Proven ability to advise project teams and work with senior stakeholders across the 1LoD and 2LoD
- Autonomous and structured, with strong reporting and communication skills
- Fluent English
- Good command of MS Office, including SharePoint
