Regulatory Health Consultant
Key Role:
Support the regulatory health portfolio on projects, including medical device and drug regulation, organizational excellence, strategic planning, regulatory science, program evaluation, and project management. Apply problem-solving in health or life-science background to develop solutions to operational and strategic challenges for federal public health agencies, work with project delivery teams to provide analytical support in the execution of project approaches, and develop deliverables and strategic recommendations to drive organizational improvements in business processes, program operations, strategic planning, and decision-making. Perform quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis methods to derive insights on client issues, evaluate trends, assess potential solutions, and support the communication of practical solutions to clients in the form of data-driven presentations, briefings, and reports. Apply expertise in healthcare, public health, or the development of regulated products, including medical devices and understanding of regulatory submissions and medical device development. Provide consulting or research and delivery expertise and work in a team-based environment.
Basic Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in a professional work environment
- Ability to work in a project environment
- Ability to interact with clients and collaborate with team members
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience working with the FDA
- 1+ years of experience with the health or medical product industries, including R&D, clinical, regulatory, marketing, strategy, operations, manufacturing, or consulting
- Knowledge of medical product development and regulatory pathways
- Possession of excellent analytical skills
- Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree
- Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC)

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
