What You Will Do
- This role is to be based in home country - open for native Indonesian speakers only.
Project Manager is focal point within the GEP implementation team for the customer responsible for the design and deployment of the SMART by GEP solution (Sourcing, Contract Management, Supplier Management, Projects and Savings Tracker and Procure to Pay) to meet customer business needs.
As functional experts, they need to have the ability to understand customer needs from the solution and accurately comprehend these for coordinating the build, testing and deployment of SMART and associated business processes. Primary responsibility involves building a complete project plan for implementation with the customer and ensure that the right resources are aligned on either side to meet the project demands. Often required to work within the technology framework and the product guidelines to solution the right approach and business process for the customer to ensure their needs are meet through an industry wide followed/acceptable solution with minimum or no customization to the product
New Implementation Projects
- Developing implementation project plan with the customer
- Comprehend their business needs and providing them with the right solution that can work within the product framework
- Managing customer stakeholders and ensuring their requirements and concerns are heard and well-coordinated internally
- Be GEP face to the customer and provide a unified response back to the customer on behalf of the Team
- Deployment responsibilities include assisting customers throughout the various phases of
- implementation process. Associate Project Manager/Project Manager is primarily responsible for constructing and maintenance of Business and Technical requirement documents with the customers and internal GEP resources
- Will assist with all aspects of a deployment including (but not limited to): process configuration, feature/functionality demos, user interface configuration, user and supplier set-up
- To act as a liaison between the customer and various groups within GEP such as Technical Support, Sales, Engineering, and Product Management
- Responsible for managing GEP resources deployed during the implementation
Customer Focus
- Associate Project Manager/Project Manager co-owns the responsibility of customer satisfaction with the Account Executive, during the successful deployment of solutions
- They will be responsible for scouting potential upsell opportunities with the client for SMART
- They will act as a liaison between the customer and various groups within GEP such as Technical Support, Sales, Engineering, and Product Management
- Possesses ability to learn to be conversant in features, functionality and applicability of the entire SMART by GEP suite including Sourcing, Contract Management, Supplier Management as well as Procure to Pay
- Possess expert knowledge in at least one area of the suite
- Builds solution, customer, and industry knowledge by leveraging the appropriate resources (internally at GEP and externally at the client)
Teamwork
- Manage a team of BA’s deployed during the implementation. Ensure right talent is nurtured
and provided opportunities
- Executes with minimal guidance and shows strong initiative
- Maintains regular communication with team members (e.g., face-to-face, via voicemails, emails) especially across multiple solution deployments so everyone understands status of project
- Proactively collaborates with manager and teammates to anticipate and respond to issues that could impact solution deployment (e.g., change in scope)

Primary Skill (Must)
- Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred. PMP will be an added advantage.
- Min 8 years relevant exp in Project Management
- Experience in managing technology implementation projects
- Functional experience in procurement (preferably in the Procure to Pay space)
- In depth knowledge of Source to Pay solution
- Capable to solution complex business/procurement situations through a combination of functional and technology implementation experience
- Technology appreciator and capability to work with multiple teams in startup alike set up to achieve end objectives
- Focus on customer satisfaction and service
- Good Communication
- Exposure to customer management
- Ability to understand customer requirements
- Ability to document requirement correctly and maintain
- Willingness to drive things to closure irrespective of the odds
Secondary Skills (Preferred)
- Preferable exposure to leading industry ERP’s like SAP and Oracle for procurement domain
- Should be open for flexible work hours
