Role: Digital Learning Consultant
Role purpose
As a Digital Learning Consultant you are expected to use a mix of creative and technical skills to perform your job. Your role will be within the European digital solutions team.
- You will have a creative mind and be able to work collaboratively.
- You’ll have an eye for design with a background or experience of learning design.
- You’ll be consulting on digital development and execution including pricing, integrations, contracting and overall approach.
- You’ll also be required to author solutions using BTS proprietary platforms
- You’ll be required to manage pipeline and projects, and coordinate with the consultant development team.
- You will also bring expertise and utilise effective communication skills to support client conversations and sales engagements.
Responsibilities
Learning Design & Content development
- Flexibly and accurately convert content from a source document to the platform through content authoring and configuration.
- Build strong relationships with consultants to ideate, conceptualise and build innovative, digital learning experiences to meet client needs.
- Maintain best practice guidelines for the tools and platforms being used
Sales&Advisory
- Help account managers understand technology-enabled learning and guide them on how to position it and our in-house platform to drive value.
- Collaborate with other team members within the EU digital team to build a repository for assets
- Build demos and sales collaterals to support account managers with proposals and pitches
Project Management
- Accurately estimate, plan, and communicate with team members and consultants on work and project progress to ensure deliverables are met.
- Act as a single point of contact for the consultant and work independently through the full development cycle end-to-end across BTS digital solutions
- Communicate effectively with all team members, internal and external to drive successful completion of projects
- Monitor and track development to ensure project timelines are met
TechnicalAdvisory
- Learn some technical procedures around platform integration and execution (e.g., technical steps needed for user authentication)
- Support the integration process by liaising with security and data teams
- Upskill on integrating client platforms with BTS platforms using SSO where needed
- Support teams in contracting by going through the SoW and connecting with IT
Client Relationship
- Help clients during key design engagements, identify choice of platforms and facilitate dialogue around learner and business requirements
- Demo platform and digital solutions to client and answer any platform/solution related questions
- Handle technical questions from client side and be able to direct it to the appropriate teams within agreed Service Level Agreements
- Able to resolve client-facing errors by acting as point of contact between client and BTS digital tech teams

- Able to work under pressure and having a team player mindset
- Strong understanding of the digital learning landscape
- Good understanding of digital accessibility standards is desirable
- Proficient working in a fast-paced environment while working on 4-5 projects parallelly
- Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, ability to lead projects and work well in a team
- Experience of working cross functionally with global teams is preferred
- Experience in a Digital Learning environment
