Business Analyst

As an IT Business Analyst, you’ll develop leading-edge applications, systems, and products. Partnering with your team of architects, developers, testers, business analysts, IA engineers, and database developers, you’ll identify clients’ business needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories. You’ll understand the overall direction and nuanced user needs clearly, and you’ll lead your team as they fulfill these needs by creating deployable features. Together, you’ll deliver high business value products to our customer and partners across the globe.

You Have:
- 2+ years of experience in an Information Technology position as a Systems Engineer or Business Analyst
- Experience with use and application of technical standards, principles and theories
- Experience with gathering and documenting requirements
- Experience with analyzing and managing requirements
- Knowledge of Systems Engineering or Business Analysis methodologies
- Ability to be analytical and problem solve
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with Department of Defense data
- Experience with writing functional specifications
- Experience with facilitating cross-team and cross-divisional meetings and coordinating team activities
- Knowledge of business rules
- Knowledge of web-based architecture and applications
- Knowledge of waterfall and agile development methodologies
- Ability to deal with all levels of management, client executives, and client representatives
- Ability to organize material and complete writing assignment according to established standards regarding clarity, conciseness, style and terminology
- Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
