Serving federal, state, & local government clients as well as public higher education institutions, our team of over 15,000+ professionals brings fresh perspective to help clients anticipate disruption, reimagine the possible, and fulfill their mission promise.
The Technology Services Optimization Offering works with clients to transform their technology services and operations and provide enterprise-wide service transformation using ServiceNow. Working with Chief Information Officers, Technology Executives, Service Owners (HR, IT, Customer, Field Service, Project Portfolio Management) and their teams, they help to establish an operating model for technology, attentive to NextGen and advanced technologies, new and evolving service models for technology and the operational expectations of an organization.

The Opportunity
The GPS practice is seeking strong government consulting professionals to support clients looking to modernize and transform IT operations within their organizations. Our multi-faceted approach to solving our clients’ biggest problems incorporates a suite of technology tools and accelerators, frameworks, and team members with broad backgrounds and experience to bring results to our client.
The Shared Lab Services (SLS) Division has been tasked with providing centralized IT hosting capabilities to improve the quality of Non-Production IT testing and services for the client. The foundation of SLS is its accredited, on-premises and cloud, Non-Production Environments (NPEs) to support customer needs. This shift in mission was one of the first changes associated with a broader transformation of DT. SLS leadership depends on the Deloitte support team to navigate the change as they become the Shared Lab Services (SLS) division during a time of transformation.
Position Responsibilities
This role is responsible for supporting a successful mission transition for SLS. This role plays a crucial role in shaping the future roadmap, goals, and business plan for the division. The analyst will also help the division’s leadership to navigate the business, capitalize on opportunities, and achieve sustainable growth of the division’s customer base and impact within DT. Activities include vision and goal setting, developing an innovation strategy, strategic planning, risk management, internal communications, fostering external partnerships and customer relationships on behalf of the division, and performance and progress monitoring for the division.
Skills
- Understanding of agile project delivery and IT operations (cloud, on prem)
- Experience developing go-to market strategies and/or service offering development strategy for operations management.
- Ability to operationalize a strategy and drive workstream(s) progress.
- Strong communication skills for marketing/comms/other visual presentations (e.g., PowerPoint, storytelling).
- Ability to bring green dot advisers, as needed, into the division’s broader strategy eff
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Ability to travel onsite 1-2 days per week in Newington, VA (and occasionally Foggy Bottom, DC) for client support.
- Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- 1+ years of experience
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $86,000 to $143,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
