BCG's Insurance Practice serves four industry sectors: Life insurance, Property & Casualty, Commercial & Reinsurance and Health, as well as Insurance brokerage firms. The practice works on the full range of issues of concern to top management, from strategy to operating model redesign, digital transformation, cost, process improvement, risk management strategy, asset management, product development, customer focus, and sales force effectiveness. We have a strong global network and "on-the-ground" experience in all major markets. The Global Practice currently comprises over 200 senior staff and works in Europe, Middle East, the Americas, and Asia Pacific, with a total of 44 insurance active offices worldwide. Our client base is the world's leading global and regional insurance and reinsurance companies and investment and wealth managers. The members of the Insurance Team combine relevant regulatory, technical and analytical know-how with the BCG core competencies: planning, steering and strategy for top management. We help companies identify and develop growth opportunities that reshape the future of the Insurance industry. We discover new avenues for value creation and provide process support during times of business transformation. All of our work is underpinned by the tracking of megatrends in the industry and the publication of thought leadership.
What You'll Do
You will be a fundamental part of the team and work alongside some of the world’s top minds in the industry, significantly contributing to the development of diverse topics and support our ambitious growth targets. In this context, you will work hand in hand with C-levels and key decision makers of our clients, while playing a critical role in the firm's project teams, contributing to the analysis, design, and implementation of business strategies for clients across various industries.
You will:
• Work on impactful projects that combine a deep understanding of the specific business with BCG’s trademark strategic expertise
• Play a role in the growth on diverse topics through case execution and client development
• Work on top priority topics while gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to understand complex business challenges
• Use quantitative and qualitative analysis to derive insights and develop strategic recommendations
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and challenges, ensuring that the solutions proposed are tailored to the client's specific context. This involves frequent interactions with client team members and stakeholders
• Prepare and present findings, insights, and recommendations to both the BCG project team and client stakeholders.
• Own module, generate value for the client and adapt the work to changing demand
• Manage client team members and build client relationships
• Manage project leadership expectations and mentor and develop junior team members
What You'll Bring
We’re looking for exceptional talent to join us. You would typically have:
• 6-9 years of relevant experience in Insurance area
• Proven time, people and project management skills
• Strong academic track record
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English
• Flexibility, ability to work under pressure and willingness to travel frequently
