We are seeking a Consulting Senior Manager with 13 to 16 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in Devices and SPM domains. This hybrid role requires a strategic problem solver who can drive impactful projects and deliver exceptional client outcomes. The position operates during day shifts and does not require travel.
Responsibilities
- Partner with clients and project collaborators and apply technical and domain expertise to solve core client business challenges or inefficiencies; this may include leading and managing small solutioning teams to accomplish the above
- Elevate the Cognizant brand from mere solution vendor to business-focused transformation partner, based on earning the trust and confidence of clients
- Collaborate with and influence Cognizant project resources (e.g., service lines, SBUs, on/offshore delivery teams) and Partners on behalf of project goals, often-changing client needs, and ultimately client delight
- Develop practice capabilities and brand recognition by exercising thought leadership, establishing a consultative presence within Cognizant and the wider consulting community, and participating in professional organization
- Participate in People Care activities, mentor and support less experienced Consultants for the benefit of the practice
- Effectively supports or leads consultative interventions within engagements (i.e., requirements analysis, user acceptance testing and management, standards compliance and management)
- Supports the business development activities of senior-level leaders (e.g., proposals, commercial presentations, business analysis, statement of work (SOW) preparation, resource loading activities, and project estimations)
- Under the direction of senior management, supports collaborative solutioning across multi-functional teams (e.g., aligns interests and priorities, builds shared goals, establishes cadence, enforces governance)
- Supports leadership in developing strategies for engaging with and building out the consultant community
- Documents and shares engagement collateral and for reference in future engagement and leads knowledge sharing sessions within the practice
Qualifications
- 15 + years working in consulting, professional services, or solution development and a good understanding of Finance Enterprise Processes, including Order to Cash; Record to Report; Procure to Pay and Acquire to Retire
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant business area
- Big 4 or similar consulting experience
- Experience participating in the lifecycle of a business transformation
- Functional expertise in relevant analysis tools and package software (i.e., SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Acts as Domain Expert (SME) in Process Optimization
- Display a consistent track record of delivering successful consulting projects.
- Demonstrate leadership skills and a desire to create a culture that enables outstanding outcomes
