Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the building and maintenance of a pipeline of acquisition candidates in the accounting and consulting industries
- Responsible for complex financial modeling of potential transactions
- Maintain proprietary database of deal statistics in the firm’s competitive landscape
- Work collaboratively with Baker Tilly’s professional staff, Finance, Legal, Human Resources, Technology and Marketing teams to execute and integrate M&A opportunities
- Develop presentations and present findings to Executive Team, Board, and Investment Committee
- Research target market segments and assesses new opportunities for growth
- Monitor the market to keep track of industry developments
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2 – 4 years of investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or consulting financial advisory services experience focused on M&A transactions
- Experience on multiple closed transactions. The ideal candidate will have experience working with or within Private Equity-backed businesses or with professional services businesses, but this is not a requirement
- Excellent financial modeling expertise to support proposal generation
- Comfortability in communicating with and crafting meeting materials for senior business leaders and Private Equity ownership on a regular basis
The compensation range for this role is $94,940 to $165,410. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
