What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is seeking a strategic and program management consultant to play a pivotal role in supporting a critical project within a financial management office. This role will focus on strategic planning, business operations, communications, and executive advisory support across a complex, decentralized federal landscape.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong intellectual curiosity, capable of working independently while engaging with senior leadership and other stakeholders to drive impactful outcomes and successfully navigate complex challenges and evolving needs.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to help the organization achieve its goals across technology, governance, and workforce.
- Develop executive meeting agendas, communications, high-quality reports, briefings, and presentations with a strong focus on Microsoft Office products.
- Facilitate executive strategic planning client meetings, trainings, events, and workshops.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of strategies through collecting and tracking data.
- Support operation initiatives and provide actionable recommendations for improvements.
- Support the development and maintenance of SharePoint sites/pages.
- Engage with senior executives and collaborate across a large, complex organization to foster alignment and consistency in communications.
- Manage stakeholder engagement, feedback, decisions, project risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Take initiative in a fast-paced environment, addressing challenges, and driving solutions with minimal oversight.
- Support special projects, one-time assignments, and briefings for senior-level executives.
What You Will Need:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience operations, strategy, project management, process improvement, or management consulting.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in strategic planning, communications, stakeholder engagement, and change management.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Ability to develop strong team and client relationships, facilitation, and consensus-building.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Extensive knowledge of business acumen functions to provide advisory in a dynamic environment.
- Experience working with senior leaders, driving communication strategies, and facilitating discussions.
- Ability to investigate, synthesize, and break down complex challenges into clear, digestible approaches and solutions for various stakeholders.
- Intellectual curiosity with a passion for addressing complex challenges.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
The annual salary range for this position is $71,800.00-$107,600.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
