About The Company
You may well not have heard of OC&C – yet! We are a 600-person boutique strategy consultancy with 12 offices around the world. We specialize in Retail, Leisure, Consumer Goods, Media & Technology, B2B Products & Services and Private Equity. OC&C has more than 35 years’ experience unpicking the most complex and interesting questions facing businesses, with what we call ‘uncommon sense’.
OC&C has many things in common with the larger strategy consultancies – exceptional people, offices around the world and great opportunities for training and career progression. But we are different in a few ways that may be attractive to you as you consider your career options:
- Focus on a few exciting sectors: Consumer Goods & Luxury, Retail, Hospitality, Business Services, Media and Technology (no big FS, no government, no pharma…)
- Highest share of true strategy work among top-tier consultancies (most of whom are increasingly focused on implementation)
- Typically smaller project teams, so you’re immediately involved in the whole project
- A more home office-based model, with less traveling to client site and less 'living out of a suitcase'
- An opportunity to drive the firm’s future in the US: we have grown the US business to over 100 employees in just a few short years, and we have ambitious plans for continued growth in both New York and Boston (and beyond!)
- Distinctive and entrepreneurial culture - but you can judge that for yourselves when you meet us!
