About the role:
Financial service (FS) institutions are being fundamentally changed by a rapid absorption of digital and disruptive technology. Our Enterprise Transformation team integrate strategy, process, people, technology, and data into a comprehensive transformation journey for our clients, spanning from vision to digital core, and from transformation to asset-driven consulting.
As Capgemini Invent is growing in the region, we are seeking to hire a Senior Consultant or Manager to accelerate the development of our end-to-end transformation portfolio for FS clients.
We expect the consultant to come with a strong background in end-to-end Technology delivery encompassing top-tier Project Management, Business Analysis and Consulting skills. Examples of skills that may be required on projects:
- Ability to produce, drive and monitor detailed project strategy and roadmap
- Ability to drive technical planning and execution along major SDLC components: design, requirements, testing, migration, etc.
- Ensure Project status reporting is in place and establish various governances (preparation and presentation of Steering committee, Operational committee)
- The person shall be able to coordinate and navigate in a matrix organization and ensure the different streams across multiple business lines are aligned.
- Budget and cost – Ensure a proper tracking of the project budget consumption
- Escalation of risk and issues
- Act as a bridge between Business and technology
Besides involvement on delivering projects, the Consultant should contribute to the development of Capgemini Invent capabilities in the region for Financial Services clients:
- Engaging with clients: build strong long-lasting relationships as a trusted advisor at all levels. As well as pro-actively open new connections and bring the team with you to maximize impact on clients
- Balance optimally sales and delivery – be hands-on as needed in support of the teams
- Practice development – Help to hire, integrate, coach, support and grow new team members. Provide leadership, mentoring and coaching for the team. Build and manage a strong community.
What you´ll bring:
- Excellent academic background: Master Degree in the field of Computer Science or Business Studies
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in consulting or Financial Institutions (in-house project management) with specialization in in technology transformation.
- Good knowledge of Financial Services end-to-end value chains, especially Credit & Lending (Front-to-back systems & operations)
- Demonstrated success in driving large and matrixed projects
- Pleasure in combining technological Know-How with strategic analysis and realization
- Sophisticated presentation and moderation skills
- Strong people management and leadership skills
- Considerable reliability, team spirit and fit for a worldwide leading Consultancy
